And this is how easy it is
1. Register your new address digitally
After you move house, you need to register your new address within 14 days. You can now do that whenever you want online and free of charge. You will receive your residence registration form digitally – you can find all you need to know about this at Hamburg.de (in German).
2. Upload your residence registration form
You can upload your digital residence registration form via the button "Daten eingeben" (enter data). An important point to observe: the day of moving into your new home on the residence registration form must show that you only moved here a maximum of 3 months ago and that your new home is inside the hvv area.
3. Choose your voucher
Choose the voucher you want for the weekly season ticket or for the mobility options available in the hvv switch App. You will then receive the voucher code by email.
Now download the hvv switch App for iOS or Android (both in German) and redeem the voucher code. That is then valid for 4 weeks. And off you go!
