Eligible school students with their main home address in Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg can purchase a hvv Deutschlandticket for € 49 a month* for the transitional period from September 2024 till December 2024 inclusive and can get part of the costs reimbursed. 

Tips on reimbursement:

• You can get a pro rata refund of € 20 per month from the Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg district council. 
• This reimbursement will only be available if you apply for it and will be paid out retroactively by the Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg district council, probably from January 2025. 
• The Kreis Herzogtum Lauenburg district council will provide information about this via schools, media and its website in autumn 2024.

*You can also purchase the hvv Deutschlandticke in one of our hvv service centres and in the hvv switch App (for all those 16 years and older).

From January 2025 you will need to order a new ticket.  

From January 2025 on, your monthly subsidy of € 20 will be directly set off against the price of your Deutschland-Schulticket. That means you no longer need to apply to your local district council for partial reimbursement  and you do not need to pay it up front yourself. 

This means that you need to cancel your existing hvv Deutschlandticket subscription in good time and place a new order for your discounted Deutschland-Schulticket (valid all over Germany) already in autumn. If you want your new subscription to start punctually from 1. January 2025, the order must be placed at the latest by the middle of November 2024. 

And this is how you do it:

2. Your new discounted Deutschland-Schulticket  can only be ordered online (in German) starting on 14.10.2024 via the school pass portal "Olav". The earliest start date of this ticket is 01.01.2025.

As of January 2025, Grades 1-10 will need to place a new order for their ticket

Do you live in Kreis Stormarn and attend Grades 11-13 at a public or private school or a vocational college? Then you benefit from the Schools Special and get a discount on the hvv Deutschlandticket. 

Reduced-price subscriptions can be ordered online with your entitlement form which you have filled out and had confirmed by your school.

From January 2025 you will need to order a new ticket if you are in Grades 11-13. 

From January 2025 on, your monthly subsidy of € 20 will be directly set off against the price of your Deutschland-Schulticket. That means you no longer need to apply to your local district council for partial reimbursement  and you do not need to pay it up front yourself.  

This means that you need to cancel your existing hvv Deutschlandticket subscription in good time and place a new order for  your discounted Deutschland-Schulticket (valid all over Germany) already in autumn. If your new subscription is to be ready to start on 1 January 2025, you must order it between 14 October and 15 November 2024.

And this is how you do it:

1. Your existing Schools Special subscription expires automatically at the end of the year. You don’t need to do anything.
2. Ordering your new reduced-price Deutschland-Schulticket can only be done online (in German) via the school pass portal "Olav".
