Variants of the hvv Jobticket
With the hvv Jobticket you can choose between two variants: Basic (optionally with a hvv Deutschlandticket for apprentices/trainees) and Premium.
Prices for employees and companies
As a corporate client you get the hvv Deutschlandticket as a hvv Jobticket for € 49 less 5 % discount. As the employer, you undertake to subsidize the Deutschlandticket for your employees with a tax-free subsidy equivalent to 25 % of the fare money. That means that you pay a tax-free travel allowance of € 12.25. The user therefore only pays € 34.30 a month for the ticket.

less 5% discount | €46.55/month |
At least 25% employer’s travel allowance | at least €12.25/month |
Ticket price for user | max. €34.30/month |
N.B.: As a corporate client, you pay the aggregate sum for the tickets used each month. In your own internal bookkeeping you set off the fare money and the travel allowance via your payroll accounts. Travel allowances can be paid out tax-free and do not affect the tax-free benefit in kind.
The hvv Jobticket for apprentices/trainees (BonusTicket) can be used if their employer has concluded a hvv Jobticket contract. The hvv Jobticket for apprentices/trainees is included in the Basic contract variant and is also a hvv Deutschlandticket as a job ticket.
As an attractive bonus, apprentices/trainees can take advantage of the take-along rule. Children under 6 travel free of charge anyway.
Prices for apprentices/trainees and companies
The BonusTicket costs € 49 less 5 % discount. As the employer, you undertake to subsidize the BonusTicket for your apprentices/trainees with a tax-free travel allowance of at least € 17.55. The apprentice/trainee therefore only pays a maximum of € 29.00 a month.

How to get the hvv Jobticket as a company in a few steps
In a Jobticket agreement, the employer signs a contract with S-Bahn Hamburg or one of their sales partners (ACE and AGA). There is no minimum number of tickets stipulated and no service charge.
- Sign a contract with S-Bahn Hamburg as the responsible contact partner in the hvv.
- Your company receives onboarding material for the contact person in the company as well as for the employees.
- The employees simply apply for their ticket themselves via a self-service system. It is available as a webticket or for the electronic wallet.
- hvv provides support during the entire process with designated contact partners for all aspects of the transition to the new system.
Digital tickets – this is how it works
The users get their Deutschlandticket as a hvv Jobticket as a digital ticket on their smartphone.
These tickets are administrated by the employer via a web front-end access. The employer will be sent the access code for the portal by email following conclusion of the contract. The platform is reached via a link and a password.
Our tip: If, in rare cases, there are employees who do not possess a smartphone, we recommend the following. We would ask you to remit the employer’s contribution to the persons concerned directly as a travel allowance. The employees then have the option to buy the Deutschlandticket on an alternative medium, e.g. from Hamburger Hochbahn AG on the hvv Card (a chipcard).
